Kaleidoscope (The Institute for the Blind) Chooses a Harman & Shure Solution!

Kaleidoscope (The Institute for the Blind) is a world renowned training and caring facility who have developed specialist facilities to assist blind people in becoming productive citizens.

They train people as artisans in fields as diverse as metal work, basket weaving and manufacture, mattress manufacture, furniture manufacture, computer skills and a number of others, which serves to improve the self confidence and self esteem of a huge number of blind individuals.

The organisation owns many buildings and complexes in Worcester and decided to acquire an in house radio broadcast station throughout the complexes for entertainment and information broadcast to all residents.

Worcester Communications were contracted as the system integrator and together with Stephen Hoy of Wild and Marr, a high quality Studer and Shure system was designed to broadcast via a custom built IP network.

We are proud to be associated with such a noble and inspirational organisation.
