“The other item that the guys at Wild and Marr kindly loaned me to evaluate, is the Tascam DR-10 CH recorder. So what is it? Well, it’s something I wish had been thought of a long time ago. The Dr-10 is a small audio recorder designed to work with a lapel mic or head mic. It records uncompressed audio as Wav files at 16 or 24 bit, 44.1 or 48 kHz sampling. Read more

“Thanks to the kind folks at Wild & Marr, I was given the opportunity to look at a few of their products that don’t often get featured, but are potentially useful for many of us. First up is the Shure MVL lapel mic, which is part of their Motiv range of products. Now I will state I own and use their MVi audio interface, which is great little unit for use with both computers and my iPhone. However it’s a bit bulky for recording myself when doing presentations, so I thought it’s time to look at a few other options. The cheapest of these is the MVL. Read more
