Introducing the New JBL 4-Way High Power ScreenArray Loudspeakers. Two new systems feature a 150 Watt, 4″ titanium diaphragm high-frequency compression driver on JBL’s patented Optimized Aperture waveguide with Screen Spreading Compensation™. The 5742 system features a quad mid-range array of four 8″ Differential Drive® cone mid-range drivers providing 1400 Watts of smooth coverage, coupled with a dual 18″ SVG™ Super
Vented Gap low-frequency section, providing 1600 Watts of high power output with minimum  distortion. The 5732 dual-mid-range version using a dual 15″, 1200 Watt, low-frequency section is also available.

The “Next Generation” Screen Array systems feature the NEW large format, 3″, neodymium, titanium diaphragm frequency compression driver for ultra-high performance. This new high frequency driver is coupled with the patented high frequency horn featuring Screen Spreading Compensation™ to correct for high frequency distortion through perforated screens.

JBL quality and ScreenArray® performance in a two-way system. The new “next-generation” Two-Way ScreenArray® speaker systems are now available. The Two-Way ScreenArray® Systems provide smooth and accurate reproduction of cinema soundtracks while being compact and very cost-effective.Measuring less than 18″ deep, each system features screen spreading compenstation and the latest advanced JBL technology. All models offer the low-distortion ScreenArray® horn for clear, accurate reproduction of the mid and high frequencies.

In order to meet the requirements for JBL quality at lower prices, three Two-Way ScreenArray speaker systems are now available. The new Two-Way ScreenArray® Systems provide smooth and accurate reproduction of cinema soundtracks while being compact and very cost-effective. Measuring less than 18″ deep, these speakers come fully assembled, making installation quick and easy. All three models offer the low-distortion ScreenArray horn for clear, accurate reproduction of the mid and high frequencies.

The 4000 Series of cinema loudspeakers meets the needs of sound designers and theatre owners, delivering the finest sonic reproduction possible. These JBL Cinema Sound Systems are designed for biamplified applications as well as systems with built-in passive crossover networks. The passive cinema systems feature new low frequency transducer technology utilizing a newly designed magnetic structure that reduces both second and third order harmonic distortion. A new copper shorting ring allows this driver to provide more constant power response which allows the low frequency cabinets to deliver equal “energy” into the listening space at all frequencies. Those systems designed for bi-amplified applications incorporate JBL’s exclusive Vented Gap Cooling (VGC™) woofers which significantly reduces the operating temperature of the voice coil, thereby delivering maximum peak impact with minimal power compression.

Aperture Bi-Radial® and driver technology for ultra-low distortion Midrange pattern control for increased direct vs. reverberant energy Vented Gap Cooled (VGC™) LF transducer(s) for maximum output and reliability Flat-front design for easy baffle wall installation Fully adjustable horn bracket for precise directional control

No other manufacturer provides a wider, more cost-effective range of solutions to take on the demands of modern cinema sound reproduction than JBL Professional. With one of the longest track records in the industry (James B. Lansing Sound, Incorporated manufactured some of the world’s first true high-fidelity loudspeakers for cinema sound systems) and JBL’s legendary reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation, it’s easy to see why today more than three quarters of all cinema loudspeakers sold worldwide come from JBL Professional.
